A 40 MVA class power transformer is typically a suitable solution for medium-sized city and county supply. During the project, the existing equipment was dismantled and the new transformer was fully introduced into the switchgear.<\/p>\n<p>During the works, bus connections were secured, insulation tests were performed, and protection and automation systems were calibrated according to grid operator requirements. Oil system tightness checks and transformer noise measurements completed the test load cycles preceding the technical acceptance.
