The installation of two 200 MVA transformers significantly increases the substation section's total transmission capacity and creates the prerequisites for serving future load growth. The simultaneously installed twin units provide the system with n-1 standard reliability.<\/p>\n<p>The large-scale project involved foundation preparation, transport and positioning of two heavy-duty units, construction of 330 kV bus connections, and integration of two independent protection systems into the substation automation.
