At Lepassaare 35/20/10 kV substation, two distribution transformers were replaced and modernized, ensuring stable power supply for the area's industrial consumers and residential districts.
During the project, we replaced two existing transformers at Lepassaare substation with new CG Power 4 MVA units. The old transformers, in service for over 30 years, had reached the end of their lifespan and no longer met the growing load demand. During the work, we redesigned the entire secondary distribution circuit, replaced protection equipment and performed extensive cable reconnection. The three-level voltage class 35/20/10 kV enables flexible load distribution to both large consumers and residential areas via the local 10 kV distribution network. The project was completed on the planned schedule and grid connection proceeded without disruption.
